The Native English Speaking Teachers’ Association (NESTA) Membership

Native English Teachers (NETs) employed in either primary or secondary schools under the Hong Kong Government Education Bureau (EDB) NET Scheme, or DSS schools, and those Advisory Teachers (ATs) and Regional NET Coordinators (RNCs) who were originally employed as NETs under the EDB NET Scheme are eligible to be members of NESTA. Other applicants may be considered for guest membership.

By registering, you declare that you are currently eligible for membership and you authorize NESTA to contact you and/or your employer to verify your declared status and to reconfirm that status when required.

By joining NESTA, you agree to receive occasional emails from our sponsors. Your personal email information will not be given out by NESTA. However, information forwarded from our sponsors to us may be sent through our system.

General Terms

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where the NESTA forum is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that NESTA has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither NESTA nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
